As a general rule, images should be 72 ppi in resolution. It's possible to use a higher resolution, such as 144 ppi (for better performance on retina screens); however, these may show larger than anticipated in some parts of the site. Please reduce the resolution of images when they are supplied in higher resolutions (such as 300ppi - typically used for printing) as the extra size increases upload and processing times when editing and slows pages for users of the website.
