Email Templates
Email Templates give you the ability to customise all correspondence emails that are sent to the custom. For example, you can change the wording and styling of the email for confirmation orders, password resets, order approvals and so on. To add a new template, follow the steps below.
- Go to: Documents -> Templates -> Web Store Email Templates
- Click [Create New Template]
- Enter in a name for the email template, language & subject
- You then have the option to upload a new template or create one from scratch within the text editor. NOTE: Inside the text editor, you can use custom CSS to style the layout of the email
- Once you have made your template, click [Save]
- You will then see the email template you created, appear in the web store email template list
- Once created, go to Setup -> Sitebuilder -> Setup Website -> Email. Once there, you will be presented with the following screen:
- Find the correct process that relates to the email template you just made and select it from the [ENGLISH (U.K.)] or [ITALIAN] field
- Once completed, click [Save]
The template you just created will now be used for the procedure that was selected for that template, e.g. Order Confirmation
NetSuite Tags within Emails
In certain situations, you may want to include information from NetSuite in your emails that only NetSuite can generate. For example, the password reset link is generated by NetSuite whenever a user requires a new password. To display this in your email template, include the NetSuite attribute tag <NLRECOVERYPASSWORDURL>
