Item Fields

Item fields hold the information about the product that you want to sell on the web store. Below are a list of default item product fields that NetSuite provides. Please note, not all of these are required.

| Display in Web Store? | This checkbox determines whether or not you want to show this item in the website so that customers can see it. | True/False |
| Page Title | The HTML Title for this page. | Text |
| Web Store Display Name | The name of this product that the customers will see. NOTE: This does NOT override the name/number | Text |
| Web Store Description | A brief description about this product. This description is usually used for display in search results (if implemented) | Text |
| Detailed Description | The detailed description is what the user sees when they click on the item and are taken to that product's individual item page. | Long Text |
| Featured Description | If this item is displayed on the home page of the web store, it will place this featured description below the items web store display name | Long Text |
| Item Drilldown Template | if you have created a template to style the way in which the item appears to the customer, select it from this dropdown area | Dropdown |
| Item Display Image | An image of the product that will be used on each individual product page | Dropdown |
| Item Display Thumbnail | The item thumbnail is a smaller version of the display image. Mainly used in search results and anywhere where the main display image is too big to be used | Dropdown |
| Swap Image | An additional image to be used for the product | Dropdown |
| Zoom Image | The image used when the user hovers over the display image. The zoom image allows the customer to have an up close look | Dropdown |
| On Special? | Check this box if you want this item to be on special | True/False |
| On Specials Description | If the On Special? checkbox is checked, you can then enter a description for this item being on special. This description will then appear under the items store display name in the specials category | Long Text |
| Out of Stock Behaviour | How should this item be handled when the stock levels hit 0?

| Don't Show Price | Tick this box to hide the price from the customer | True/False |
| No Price Message | If you ticked the box to not show a price, use this field to display a different message to the customer | Text |
| META Tag HTML | The META tag HTML requires you to enter tag information about this specific product. This helps search engines pick up your website should a user input some of the tags you put in this field. This field also allows for adding custom CSS/Javascript should it be required. | HTML |
| URL Component | This field allows you to customise part of the URL that relates to this product. If this field is left blank, NetSuite will default the URL to segginao.com/products/s.nl?=2 where s.nl?=2 will be used to identify the product. Ensure that this field is not left blank as it improves SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) | Text |
| Search Keywords | Search Keywords is similar to the META Tag HTML field. Where the META Tag HTML field is used for search engines to help find your website, the Search Keywords field are any keywords that you think a customer might type to find this product | Text |
| Exclude from Sitemap | Exclude from sitemap, if ticked, will hide this product from search engine crawler bots (such as Google) and users. | True/False |
| Sitemap Priority | This changes the sitemap.xml file to inform the search engine bot how important this product is to be indexed. | Dropdown |
| Product Feed | Select the sites from this list where you would like to export information from | Dropdown |
| Shopping.com Category | The name of the category on shopping.com | Text |
| Shopzilla Category ID | The category id for shopzilla.com | Text |
| NextTag Category | The NextTag category name for this product | Text |
| Site Category | The web store category of your site you want this item to be placed in | Dropdown |
| Related Items | Pick from other items already in the web store that are similar to this one that you wish to inform the customer about | Dropdown |
