Netsuite Integration - Cazoomi

How does it work?

Cazoomi uses saved searches in netsuite to sync contacts with Mailchimp.

It syncs in one direction only, netsuite > mail chimp.

Working with sales reps / contacts in Netsuite

When you EDIT a CUSTOMER card in netsuite, a new mandatory field appears: SALES REP. Please select a representative - Only select if you know who to pick.

If you don't know who to pick or if we want to keep it general (small customers etc), please select SALES TEAM.

For the USA - select US SALES TEAM

Netsuite Contacts, you can now select: PRIMARY, ALTERNATE and TERTIARY contact.

The TERTIARY (3d) is new. You can make more than one contact TERTIARY.

VERY IMPORTANT! Only select PRIMARY, ALTERNATE and/or TERTIARY if you want these contacts to be available for Mailchimp.

ALWAYS select a PRIMARY contact though, for our calling lists. If anyone doesn't want to receive our mailings, they can opt out anyway through Mailchimp.

Netsuite

• The searches used in netsuite for cazoomi are:

> MAILCHIMP contacts - Export (dan) - ID 190

> MAILCHIMP contacts - Regular (dan) - ID 144

> MAILCHIMP contacts - Top Customers (dan) - ID 191

• These searches find contacts which are defined as PRIMARY, ALTERNATE and/or TERTIARY in relation to a customer.

• In order to be able to use the fields delivery run, categories + departments (associated with customers, not contacts) there are three custom fields: 1. contact(deliveryrun) 2. contact(customercategory) 3. contact(customerdepartment)

• These fields are updated daily using a mass update called ‘Custom Contact Mass Update (DAN)’. The mass update fields tab is where the data to be drawn out is defined.

The sync is called Netsuite -> New Chimp

Mailchimp

• Segments have been set up for each value available for delivery run and category available in netsuite (lists). They automatically update. • When a new delivery run, category or department is created in netsuite, mailchimp needs to have a segment created for that new value (if you want to be able to send mails according to that criteria)
