Press
The contents of the press page is populated from a Web Site Tab record, found here.
The URL Component field defines the URL the page will be displayed on, (in this case, http://www.seggiano.com/Press), and the Item List Layout defines where to find the HTML that makes up the page.
Currently, the Layout is: A Seggiano 2015 : MVL Design - PRESS INFO ITEM LIST layout
The templates applied to this layout are:
- List Template: A Seggiano 2015 : MVL Design - PRESS INFO ITEM LIST template
- List Cell Template: A Seggiano 2015 : MVL Design - PRESS INFO ITEM LIST cell
The items displayed are listed in the Items sublist at the bottom of the page. Each of these refers to an Information Item record, and uses the data held there to put together a listing. Please note that when adding a new line, you may be presented with Item records rather than Information Items, which can be selected using the top dropdown in the popup.

When creating or updating Information Items, ensure Display in Web Site is ticked.
Note: The text editors on this page show formatted text. It is highly recommended that you switch to 'source edit mode' using the button at the very top left of the editor.
Brief Description holds the text used as the title of the item. This Field uses an h3 tag and adds a 'buy' attribute to it, which holds the URL used by the Buy button. The button will not work without a correct link to the product page. An example of possible contents for the field would be:
<h3 buy="/Shop/Organic-Penne-Rigate-Pasta">A 'chic' pasta penne</h3>
Featured Description holds a quick summarising quote to be displayed on the item
Detailed Description is being used to hold a link to the article, which is picked up by javascript to apply to the View Article button and the image.
The image is stored in the Item Thumbnail field in the media tab.
Ensure the Press category has been added to the Site Category sublist to apply it.
