Web Store Product Set-up
Products appear in the web store based on the information in the Netsuite Item record. Most of these details can be found in the Web Store tab. Any fields from other tabs will be noted.
The checkbox Display in Web Site near the top of this tab must be ticked for the product to appear in the site. Additionally, it will need to be applied to a category, which is done using the Web Site Categories sublist, at the bottom of the page.
The URL used to access the product is defined using URL Component. In this example, the URL will be http://www.seggiano.com/Organic-Toscani-Pasta.
The image shown on the product page is stored under Item Display Image, and the thumbnail used in category and search pages is Item Display Thumbnail. When hovering over the image, users will be shown a zoomed in image, based on the image in Zoom Image - Main.
The description to the right of the product image on the web store uses Web Store Display Name, Product Size further down the page, and Detailed Description along with Brand from the Custom tab.
Notable attributes of the product are shown under this and at the top of the Ingredients & Nutrition section. A list of tick boxes under the Web Custom Fields heading define these. Ticking these will cause them to appear on the product page. They are: Organic, IGP, DOP, Gluten Free, Vegan, Fairtrade, Forest Friendly, No Wheat, Vegetarian and GMO Free
The Web Custom Fields heading also holds information for the Ingredients, Storage Instructions and Nutrition Information.
Pricing information comes from the pricing tab. The Online Price listed at the bottom of the sublist is the current price shown throughout the site. When a promotion is active, the previous 'full' price will be displayed with a strike-through. This is taken from the Promotion Original Price field.
